With die casting, rigid and non-deformable products are created: the original shape created in the mold with the transition of the metal from liquid to solid is maintained forever. This is in contrast to cookware made by cold stamping, which obtains its shape through sheet metal deformation; these, when subjected to heat, tend to deform and return to their original shape. This method is also subject to deformation with small impacts and compromises their stability: glopping on stoves and imperfect adhesion on cooktops, reducing energy absorption on electric, glass-ceramic and induction.
